Sales and eCommerce Team Member
Full Time 39.5 hour per week. Part Time will be considered
Highland Bikes is now entering our 25th year and we are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and creative individual to join our sales team in our store in Elgin.
Good customer service is the key to our success and our sales team are responsible for ensuring a great customer experience, so a passionate and helpful attitude is essential.
This position involves supporting our existing sales team with handling instore enquires, incoming phone calls, email and social media enquiries on a wide range of matters including new bike and equipment sales, sizing or technical questions and much more. Sales staff also take an active role in receiving and returning bikes from the workshop as well as general store duties such as receiving and merchandising stock and keeping the store tidy.
The eCommerce Bit:
In addition, the successful applicant will be required to help develop our online customer connections.
This will involve:
Product Management: A keen eye for detail is required to help with the management of online product listings, ensuring the details and accuracy of the information displayed on our website using our Content Management System.
Marketing: This is where you get to unleash your creative side, creating engaging customer content for our social media, blog pages and email campaigns to help drive our customer reach and engagement.
Requirements
- A good working knowledge and keen interest for bikes and cycling.
- To keep up with the constant stream of new product and innovation, a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn is essential.
- Must be comfortable and confident using computers and web-based platforms.
- Experience with design apps such as Adobe Illustrator or Affinity Designer would an advantage but not essential.
- An eye for good design and aesthetics.
- Good communication skills.
- A can-do attitude.
- Can work as part of a team.
- Mechanical skills are of course welcome but not essential for this role.
